Located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, Skin IQ is the premier medspa destination for men and women seeking advanced individualized skincare, in a very private environment, and using the latest in skincare rejuvenation therapies to slow the pace of aging and enhance natural beauty. Lidia Nistor-Reteneller founded Skin IQ in August of 2006 with a mission to exceed client expectations through customized skincare using the best products and the most effective advanced therapies. This approach— that every client’s set of needs and issues is unique and deserves a personalized treatment— is the hallmark of her brand. Lidia's path to entrepreneurship started just after college graduation in Bucharest, Romania in 1995. Upon completing the requirements for a Physician's Assistant degree, she accepted a position with the Ritz-Carlton Hotels in Dubai in 1998. Selected for the luxury hotel’s corporate management training program, she relocated to Atlanta (then the Ritz-Carlton headquarters) in year 2000. It was on a skin care consultation for her wedding that Lidia discovered a new vocational passion: medical skin care. Lidia graduated in 2002 from the International School of Esthetics which led to an apprenticeship with the prominent Dr. Jean Chapman. In 2006, she launched Skin IQ Med Spa. The newest West Buckhead location expands on her Med Spa offerings and on her dream of a retail store, French Pharmacy-like format, making available the most progressive, unique and trusted skincare products in a friendly, pressure-free environment.

I wish I would have gone in when I first found this place. I emailed Lidia wanting to set up an appointment. I went in for an oxygen lift. I also did dermaplane and radio frequency around my eyes. I went straight to my sister’s house after my appointment. She kept telling me how great my skin looks. I look so refreshed and am very happy that I finally made it in. The hour at skiniq changed me from a Debby downer to a girl with a pep in her step! I used to work in a high end spa in Vail, Colorado and would get facials every 3-4 weeks. I honestly wasn’t sure I would find someone that could do the oxygen lift like my Esti in Vail did. Lidia is very knowledgeable and she did a great job explaining everything to me. I also found her very honest to work with. She told me what she would do. And it was completely different than what I wanted. But she knows what she is doing! I have made my next appointment. I highly recommend skin iq.

My facial with Samantha this week was AMAZING!!. I was a little nervous because my face is very sensitive, however Samantha explained the process of the Hydrabrasion Facial very well, so I was excited to see what the end result would bring. Initially I was a bit talkative, but after a few moments I realized I was missing out on this one moment in time, where I could relax and allow this highly professional woman, do her magic. Samantha explained each process in a calm and confident manner while I sank deeper into a meditative state. When she said “ok you are done” I couldn’t wait to see if I looked as great as I felt. And I did!! I was highly impressed with the results. If you saw lights flashing this past week, don’t worry it was just ME glowing and smiling. Samantha is very skilled as well as beautiful inside and out and will have you glowing too.

I cannot recommend Lidia and her staff at Skin IQ enough. I suffered from cystic acne for many years and the micro-needling sessions with Amy have helped my scars fade so much! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and caring. I’ve recently begun the laser hair removal process on my underarms and was a bit nervous at first. Lidia and Sam immediately put me at ease. They explained the laser procedure thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable throughout. It was incredibly quick and I am loving the results so far. Every time I visit Skin IQ it is a wonderful experience!!
